About this Project

  • Ketza Group acted as the general contractor on the new Children’s Receiving Home in Whitehorse. The new facility will be 4,200 square feet in size and built to the Yukon’s Super GreenHome standard for maximum energy efficiency. It will provide eight modern units in a healthy and safe environment with much more programming space than the previous building. Now complete, the new building will serve as a temporary residence for up to 8 young people aged 12 to 18, who have been removed from their families to prevent abuse or neglect.
