Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a call for tender or a request for proposals. Ketza Construction Corp (“Ketza”) is issuing this Advance Procurement Notice (APN) to inform subcontractors, trades, and suppliers of an upcoming construction opportunity at the Mayo Gathering House project in Mayo, Yukon.
The purpose of this APN is to allow interested subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to assess their capacity and interest, and to prepare for the anticipated tender package(s).
Please be advised that there is no assurance or guarantee that the Project will proceed or, if it does proceed, that it will do so in accordance with the currently anticipated timeline.
Description of the Project and Scope of Work
The Dän Laachewdäw Kún (DLK) Gathering House is a cultural gathering house and community centre being developed by the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun in Mayo, Yukon. The new two storey building will be approximately 2330m2 in size. Anticipated tender packages are anticipated to include, but are not limited to:

- Superstructure
- Electrical
- Mechanical
- Elevator
- Structural Steel
- Roofing
- Doors and Hardware
- Windows, Aluminum, & Glazing
- Landscaping
- Interior Finishing
- Drywall and Framing
- Metal Fabrications
- Flooring
- Painting
- Specialties
- Fireproofing and Spray Foam
- Window Coverings & Signage
- Site Development & Landscaping
Please be advised that bid packages valued at more than $300,000 will require the submission of a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond. Cash Bonds will not be accepted. Any successful bidder of a package will also be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50% of the awarded contract value.
Indigenous and Local Business Participation
Local hire, training, and subcontracting opportunities with First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun citizens and NND Development Corporation are a core project objective. This will be further defined in the tender packages.
Anticipated Timeline
The tender for this project is anticipated to be issued in November & December 2026.
